At RIF, a 5000 square feet physical space with executable facilities are available for the Startups. The potential startups can get Infrastructural support to have working space along with Communication and Computing, Technological Display cum Information Hall, Conference and Meeting Hall, Ideation Room and other necessary incubation facilities.
The budding ideas of startups will be fostered under guidance of industry and market experts, researchers, and academicians of premier research and educational institutes and universities. Expert with the best technical familiarity will share their knowledge and expertise with incubatees. Wherever young entrepreneurs stumble, expert will have advices for them.
Consultancy services will be arranged for the entrepreneurs and established units. RIF is committed to provide consultancy services in all the major areas (viz. Science and Technology, Business Management and Marketing, Banking and Finance, etc.) for the holistic growth of the startups and entrepreneurs.
The startups and entrepreneurs can enhance their skills, competencies and capabilities with the trainings and workshops aligned to knowledge sharing. The workshops/training programs will help in validating product ideas, market segmentation and teach them to model the business proposal.

Entrepreneurs/Start-ups may be an individual or group of individuals working towards development of innovative products/ processes/ services and must have a scalable business model with a high potential of employment generation or wealth creation.
Entrepreneurs/Start-ups may be registered under either form of business entity as follows:
Private Limited Company (under The Companies Act, 2013); or
Sole proprietorship Company; or
One Person Company; or
A Registered Partnership Firm (under The Indian Partnership Act, 1932); or
A Limited Liability Partnership (under The Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008); or
A “Commercial Establishment” in any other form allowed by Government of India laws or as notified in the Official Gazette.
Entrepreneurs/Start-ups with no legal registration may be considered for incubation provided the application is submitted in the names of all promoters/founders. Also the promoters/founders must ensure that the Start-up is registered under either form of business entity listed in point 2, within a period of One Year from the start date of incubation at Incubation Centre.
Further to the criteria mentioned in Section 2, the registered Start-up:
Must not be older than 7 years from the date of registration/ company incorporation (Biotechnology related Start-ups must not be older than 10 years from the date of registration/ company incorporation).
Its annual turnover (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) in any preceding financial year must not exceed 25 crores.
Must not be formed by splitting up, or reconstruction, of a business already in existence.
Must be working towards development of innovative products/ processes/services and must have a scalable business model with a high potential of employment generation or wealth creation.
Submission of an electronic or in person – Application/Idea by Potential Incubatees, Innovators and Entrepreneurs.
Constitution and approval of the incubation evaluation committee by the directors (screening round where proposals are examined with attention to financial and technical due diligence).
Presentation before the committee by the applicant.
The Committee gives its recommendation and signed minutes are forwarded to the Director for approval.
Incubation Agreement is signed for admission.
Periodic review of the activities of the incubate company every quarter.
In case the incubate company requires any facility of Rohilkhand Incubation Foundation, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, then they shall enter into a Usage Agreement.
In case the incubate company requires any seed fund, they shall submit an application giving details of fund requirement with clear budget heads and enter into a separate Seed Fund Agreement containing details of repayment, etc.
